1) Improv Voltron at Heritage Grill, 8 pm on August 19
The Radical and Inside Shoes join up for a massive night of entertainment in New Westminster. Each improv comedy troupe will perform their own showcases, then come together for a jam of epic proportions.Tickets: $5
2) Marginalized Stand-Up Comedy at The Emerald, 8 pm and 10:45 pm on August 20
An eclectic group of stand-up comedians from LA are fighting against racism, ignorance and hate with the best tool at their disposal: vulnerable, unadulterated, and hilarious free speech. Presented by Rawsome Comedy, Marginalized stars Tamer Kattan (winner of the World Series of Comedy in 2015), Jessica Keenan (The Comedy Store), Zoe Rogers (Edinburgh Fringe), and Movses Shakarian (Chelsea on Netflix). 3) Write Club at Little Mountain Gallery, 8:30 pm on August 20
Audience members become their favourite authors and direct comedians to perform in their literary styles, in a head to head battle to determine the greatest writer of all time! Come dressed as your favourite writer and you’ll more than likely win a prize. Created by Ian Boothby. Tickets: $5
4) Eric Andre at the Commodore Ballroom, 9 pm on August 23
Eric Andre brings his high-energy comedy show to Vancouver. He is the creator and host of The Eric André Show on Adult Swim, co-starred as Mark on the ABC comedy series Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, and recently appeared in PopStar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Think GG Allin meets Gallagher. Don’t forget your poncho. Tickets: $25 + s/c
5) Joke Roulette at Seven Dining Lounge, 9 pm on August 25
A stand up show with a twist. All the comedians will come with a list of their jokes. That list will be given to an audience member who will pick which jokes that comedian will be telling. A Joke Roulette if you will. Featuring Brent Constantine, Randee Neumeyer, Chris James and more, hosted by Brett Skillen. Tickets: $5
