Kwantlen Improv shares the Power Of Yes with weekly drop-in workshops at KPU

Calling all Kwantlen Polytechnic University students and alumni! Looking to make new friends this semester? Want to work on your public speaking and communication skills in a fun and welcoming environment? Kwantlen Improv (KI) is here to make your comedy dreams come true.

I’m honoured to announce that I will be teaching improv workshops at KPU Surrey every Monday starting on September 19. The drop-in workshops will take place from 5:00 pm to 6:50 pm in the Cedar Building (Room TBC), and are free for current students, $5 for alumni, and $10 for members of the public.

As a Kwantlen alum myself (Bachelor of Journalism, 2006), I’m thrilled to work with the Kwantlen Student Association to share my experience with students and grads. Even more exciting is that KI workshops are also open to members of the community. If you know someone who has always wanted to try improv, invite them to join you.

The workshops are perfect for all ages and experience levels, and will teach important skills that can be used onstage, in the classroom, and in everyday life. For more information and updates, join the KI Facebook Group or email kwantlenimprov@gmail.com!
